:60 Have We No Respect For Our Fellow Man
Two weeks ago while most of the country was dealing with record freezing temperatures, there was a new record being set. :90 A Dog Gets More Love
The response to men having to use their own pee to try and keep warm brought both outrage in my soul and a cry for a country that has long treated America's minorities specifically black men as a little less than dog’s. It took the vocal voices of activist and the banging of windows by those incarcerated to bring attention to an issue that has plagued black America. This was also the teeth pulling needed to get the city of new york and the federal government involved in deploying blankets and other products to keep the men warm while the power company and others went to fix the issues of no-heat. But why in 21st century America did there have to be outrage in order to affect change. Are we not our brother's keeper? These are human beings locked up for crimes many didn’t even commit. But give a correction officer a little power over a person and watch them treat that person as less than human. Of course there are many good hard working people that are in corrections, but this culture of shaming and maming people while incarcerated must stop. Black men are an endangered species. When are we going to get our commercial. If people truly know our pain they would donate every dollar they have to our cause. We are human and we bleed red just like you.
:30 Donald Trump Said What?
:30 Take Em To Church: God made us all to be equal and he made us all beautiful and loving in our own right. There is a scripture that says how can we love God. That which we have never seen or touched before, but hate our brother. The one we do see every day.
