This week's episode features interviews from U of M Spokesperson John Danakas in regards to the university's policy about cannabis use, given the upcoming legalization of cannabis in Canada. We also have audio from the Make Poverty History Manitoba rally that occured on Oct. 11, 2018, with interviews from Manitoba NDP leader Wab Kinew and UMSU president Jakob Sanderson. October is sustainability month, and we had a chance to talk to Christie Nairn from the office of sustainability here at the University of Manitoba, as well as two U of M students involved with sustainability projects on campus through the office of sustainability. Finally, we spoke with an editor from the Feminist and Queer Review, Adriana King, and head of the women's and gender studies program at the University of Manitoba, Shawna Ferris. The Feminist and Queer Collective had their launch party celebrating the 10th anniversary edition of their FAQ review.
