On October 22, 1966, a gruesome murder of a local Tallahassee family took place. The three victims Dr. Robert Sims, Helen Sims, and Joy Lynn Sims. All were found bound, blindfolded, and shot execution style in their bedroom. Upon the scene the oldest daughter of the sims family, Norma Jeannette found her family massacred.
