Chris Demeke is a Group Product Manager at Google, leading product development for the Google Developer Program and Google's developer documentation and learning platform on developers.google.com. Prior to that he worked on Elections and Civics on Google Search, as well as Local Guides on Google Maps.

Born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Chris immigrated to the United States at the age of four and grew up in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master of Science from Georgetown University. With over ten years of experience in software development and product management, he has worked at companies such as Google, General Electric, and Synchrony Financial.

Chris currently resides just outside of Washington D.C., in Maryland, with his spouse and 3 young kids.
