Black culture is diverse, and this can come with some challenges and division among the many subcultures included. On this episode, Bukie and Arielle invite two guests to the show to discuss how travel plays a role in uniting Black subcultures, like Africans, Black Americans, Caribbeans, and Afro-Latinos. In part 2 of this episode, we discuss traveling to the African continent as a Black American and whether travel is elitist within the Black community.

Kevin Ojo is a Nigerian man who grew up in Ghana and now lives in the US. He established a company @thetravelclan_ to help the Black community explore countries across the African continent. 

Ariel Barlow's experiences with Black subcultures while living in regions across the US, attending an HBCU, and visiting several countries in Africa gives her a unique perspective on this topic.
