Over this past year we’ve started to see a lot of the high-profile speciality cafes closing or being bought out. Taylor Street Baristas have gone under this year, and lots of small chains and cafes have been bought out by larger companies. A couple of chains trying to be more speciality-led have even been bought out by larger chains.
