Here he encounters the first 4 disciples, all fishermen, and he invites them into something new. Throughout his ministry, Jesus continually embodies the truth that the kingdom of heaven is coming near. As followers, we are all invited into that same embodiment, as the kingdom is continually coming near to this reality.
