My name is Ryan Ken. I’m an actor, writer, performer, crier, weed smoker, and avid TV and film watcher! And I’m Jennie. I’m a city cyclist, writer, domestic manager for a cat and a dog. And I work in tech! And we’ve got a new podcast called “Let Me Back Up.” It’s a door into our friendship and a space where we celebrate rethinking. On “Let Me Back Up” we talk about pop culture, race, media, and our friendship in ways that challenge and excite us. In 30 minutes or less, we take a topic, reconstruct our understanding of it, and encourage one another to continue pushing our thinking around it. We ask each other questions like “How are Black people so good at making memes?” or “What does true allyship look like? Do we even need allies?” Here’s a snippet of our first episode!
