Today’s guest is Kevin Wohlman, founder and owner at Southern Scholar. Southern Scholar is a premium dress sock subscription.  

In 2014 Southern Scholar set out to re-engineer the dress sock with a focus on quality, fit, and comfort. 

Kevin and I will talk about the hardships of true start ups with no capital backing. The hard lessons he learned, and what drove him to become the eventual winner of many subscription box awards.

In 2019, 5 short years after launching his subscription box company, Southern Scholar was voted the top Men’s Subscription box in the US, and I counted 16 other awards or mentions in well known publications such as: GQ, Esquire, Buzzfeed and CNN Underscored.
