In this episode of the Rambling Rev, Pastor Scott explores the opening portion of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, known as the Beatitudes, found in Matthew 5:1-12. We find Jesus giving the name or identity of "blessed ones" to those that seem ultimately marginalized. We remember his first ministry words that the kingdom of heaven has come near to us...and through this we begin to see glimpses of how the divine is revealed.
