Psalms 24:1-5 ESV  A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein,  2  for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.  3  Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place?  4  He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully.  5  He will receive blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Daniel 4:16-17 ESV  Let his mind be changed from a man's, and let a beast's mind be given to him; and let seven periods of time pass over him.  17  The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, the decision by the word of the holy ones, to the end that the living may know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will and sets over it the lowliest of men.’

Habakkuk 3:17-18 ESV  Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls,  18  yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.

1 Peter 3:12-16 ESV  For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”  13  Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good?  14  But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,  15  but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,  16  having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.

Colossians 1:12-14 ESV  giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.  13  He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,  14  in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
