This is The Do It For Yourself Podcast. Each week I sit down with someone who is doing it for themselves and chasing a dream they just couldn't neglect. This is often speakers, entrepreneurs, or athletes. They all share one thing in common, they are overcoming challenges and never giving up.
This week My guest is John Schlosser. John is a highly competitive 70.3 and 140.6 distance triathlete. John is also a very good friend of mine and we have worked together in the triathlon world for a few years. John has been in the sport of triathlon for a very long time and it is great to hear a perspective from someone who has been around to see this sport grow to what it is today. In this episode, John discusses some of his difficulties with scheduling while working as a detective. John also dives into how his life changed a bit while going through his divorce and how he came out on the other side. This was a bit of an emotional ride for John and I really appreciate his openness in our conversation. We also discuss what it was like to race the most coveted race on the planet, the Ironman World Championships in Kona. Not once, but twice!
Please enjoy my interview with John.
