In this episode of The Rambling Rev, Pastor Scott continues on ongoing exploration of the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus builds on themes from past weeks (and slightly earlier scripture) to reveal the depths of the brokenness of sin within individuals and humanity and the world. We are incapable of achieving righteousness on our own, and so the law points out our need for a savior. Jesus has come to fulfill the law on our behalf, allowing us to enter into the kingdom of heaven which has come near.
