This is The Do It For Yourself Podcast.  Each week I sit down with someone who is doing it for themselves and chasing a dream they just couldn't neglect.  This is often speakers, entrepreneurs, or athletes.  They all share one thing in common, they are overcoming challenges and never giving up.

 

This week My guest is Mark Poletti.  Mark is an actor, stuntman, and producer living in California.  Mark has always had a knack for gymnastics and stunts.  Back in college Mark could be seen all over campus finding walls or ledges to flip off of.  I even remember Mark's love for putting together skateboard videos when we were kids.  He has always had a passion for things like this and it doesn't surprise me that he is now doing this for a living.  In this episode, we dive into how Mark stumbled upon his friends out in California and how he found his first roommate via a simple Facebook post.  We discuss what it was like making a huge decision to leave his family here on the east coast and pursue his dreams out in California.  It wasn't always production meetings and big equipment.  Mark started from humble beginnings working at Starbucks and dreaming of the day where he could leave there and pursue this dream full time.
