This is The Do It For Yourself Podcast. Each week I sit down with someone who is doing it for themselves and chasing a dream they just couldn't neglect. This is often speakers, entrepreneurs, or athletes. They all share one thing in common, they are overcoming challenges and never giving up.
This week my guest is Brandon Dombrowski. Brandon is an aspiring professional triathlete who resides in Delaware. He entered into this sport after college when he was looking for something to keep him fit after a long career in soccer. Brandon was a very high-level soccer player through his high school and college career and he knew he would need something competitive to keep him fit. Enter the world of triathlon. Brandon did his first race and he hit the ground running. He fell in love with this sport from the instant he hit the start line and he has never looked back. Brandon has gone on to have some very competitive finishes in this sport including some overall wins. More important than the medals or accolades he receives, Brandon wants to give back to a sport that has given him so much. One of the ways he has done that is through coaching and mentoring. He pushed me to sign up and complete my first race and we have shared many race courses together over the years. Brandon is a good friend and someone I admire very much for the passion he puts into not only his own training but his athletes as well. I really enjoyed sitting down with him to dive deep into this and I hope you do too.
Please enjoy this weeks interview with Brandon.
