The first two surround the screening of the film titled "We are the Roots: Black Settlers and their Experiences of Discrimination on the Canadian Prairies" which will be screened in the GSA Lounge Feb. 28 as part of the university’s celebration of Black History Month. The co-lead on the project, University of Lethbridge professor Jenna Bailey, spoke (2:43) about the work that went into the film. Myrna Donald of the U of M's Black History Month committee organized the screening, and she also spoke (10:29) about the meaning of the film. The final two interviews are with acts from Festival du Voyageur’s (FDV) 2019 lineup. Both spoke about their music, as well as their Festival experience.
