Episode 0144: A Happy Medium: Is There Really Life After Death ☀️
For centuries mankind has had to deal with one of the number one questions on mankind's mind. It's really a part of a trivial process from the time of our birth. Because essentially from the time we take our first breath there is an expiration date connected to the time that we will take our last here on Earth. Different cultures and religi I'mons have handled the ideology of death wildly different.. some cultures chose to mummify their dead. Others have chosen to burn them to ashes. Sam has sent their dead off until the deep parts of the ocean never to return. Whatever the cultural or religious representation when it comes down to death there's one thing all religions and all cultures have in common in regards to death. Everyone on this planet alive today which is roughly 7 billion people in 125 years roughly 99.99% will not be here. That's a tough pill to swallow and it's hard to imagine 7 billion people gone and disappeared in a blink of an eye. So is there life after death? we'll talk about it more in a second.

Let's Take Em To Church
This past Saturday night a soul has gone on to another realm of existence within the authority for which God has designed for it to move into. My grandfather Hollis right is absent from his body so I can only imagine that he's present with the Lord. My grandfather was a me no soul and a lot of cases. But he came from the old school and as I talked to him and built their relationship with him I realize more and more that he was all bark and no bite. He loved his kids and grandkids dearly taught me a lot of things about history. I enjoyed some of those quote unquote fireside chats talking about the way things were when he lived in a time of good food good eats and a black man making it and working hard was a thing to truly be proud of. My grandmother died a couple years ago and in both cases they lived well beyond a 70 years promise to them. And although my grandfather was truly ready to go in the past couple months of his life as the throat cancer ate up his lungs and also ate into his spirit. The thought of him dying at an old age still didn't take the sting of death and the unanswered question. What will life after death be for him. Will he bring flowers and sunshine to my grandmother that saying welcome home welcome home my sweet baby. What a dance to the moonlight in a celestial stars and find themselves in love again. Will he even recognize my grandmother as she's more than likely transformed him to her youthful self I'm sure he would. What would life be for him after death? What are you sing in the choir and play the tambourine? I don't think so he didn't do it here on Earth. But I guess most poetically and the thing that matters most will God say “well done my good and faithful servant in you I am well pleased.”
