Today’s guest is Josh Band, owner and founder of Plate Crate!
Plate Crate is a monthly subscription and gift box company who caters to the baseball world!
Josh created Plate Crate back in 2015 while playing independent baseball. A baseball fan himself, he was looking to subscribe to a baseball box. To his surprise, he found none. That’s when Josh decided to fill the void!
Josh first started Plate Crate to help himself earn a little side money as his salary playing baseball across the mid-west wasn’t anything to write home about. Completely bootstrapped, Josh took what little money he had...around $600-$700 he had saved, and spent the next 5 yrs figuring out how to grow Plate Crate through books, podcasts, mentorships and failures!
On today’s episode, Josh and I chat about bootstrapping a subscription box business, and the clever inexpensive ways you can do this to grow your business!!!
