Sr. Julia Roy entered the Benedictine Sisters at St. Joseph’s Monastery here in Tulsa in 1979 and made first vows in 1981. She was raised in Atlanta Georgia and Graduated from University of Tulsa with Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and received her Master of Arts in Monastic Theology from St. John’s University in Minnesota. She is presently Subprioress of St. Joseph Monastery and the Director of Mission Integration at Monte Cassino School in Tulsa.
