This interview wasn't scheduled to be released for a few weeks but it seemed serendipitous that just a few hours after our lively conversation about how essential Doula’s are - especially to the health and wellbeing of black mothers and surmising why the lack of representation, that I stumbled across Today’s New York Post’s Morning report referring to and minimizing doulas as mere accessories. I couldn't just sit on the interview for a few weeks, I had to let it go.
This is just the first installment of the hilariously informative conversation and meet the Dope Doula herself, Calvis Jones Williamson.
