About a month ago weeks ago I decided to start this podcast.

Yesterday I noticed today that after 19 episodes I have 101 total downloads, minus how many times I downloaded my own episodes to hear how they sound. 

Not bad right? 

Well, if you are an avid podcast listener, you will know that statistically speaking, not only is this NOT good, it’s borderline pathetic. 

For example Joe Rogan averages about 3 Million downloads per episode. 

So that should put me around 57 Million downloads for my 19 episodes. 

Unfortunately I have come up just short, only missing the mark by 56,999,899 downloads. 

So close! 

Compared to Joe Rogan I am garbage and I should probably quit now before I continue to embarrass myself. 

This is true… only if I am solely interested in downloads. 

But that isn’t the case, my goal is to share stories and ideas that inspire others to become they best version of themselves possible. 

As I look at the very, very low number of 101 downloads, I am reminded of and focus on the number 1. 

The 1 message I woke up to this morning. 

“Hi Brandon Just reaching out to tell you how your consistent posts of positivity and support of the intimate topics so many are hesitant to touch on, that you have brought so much power and strength to, is so amazing. I am so proud of you Brandon. Keep doing what your'e doing.” 

This is what matters to me, not the downloads.
