“One day you’ll set him down, and never pick him up again.” Cue ALL.THE.TEARS. Want more tears? What about the fact that you’ll never know when that moment is. Ugh. I can’t even write about this without curling up into the fetal position. Listen, Jen and I talk about this reality in this conversation. We give a little loving advice to the veteran moms who have already experienced this. And mostly, we talk about how important it is to stay present in the moment. Allowing ourselves to feel everything we feel, not wishing away time, but not living in the past or worrying about the future.
