WHAT’S GOT OUR GOAT?:
Crappy problems & little things that bug us:
Darrell:
It’s the year of the goat as of today. Chinese New Year (sheep & ram also valid)
Feedburner (Google) is no longer supported (since 2010) & is slowly having more & more problems, so we’re changing our RSS feed at some point.
Idiots that call the house with a foreign accent saying they’re with the IRS. The IRS doesn’t call. They mail stuff.
What’s got your goat?
Hammond:
arm still strapped to side of my body. move into the annoying phase now
dementia - watching someone lose who they are sucks.
phone solicitors on my cell phone spoofing numbers.
THE TURNAROUND: This week’s Positive:
Darrell:
We let our son (19) set up our WiFi in the new place. I’ll give him a B for a good first try, but the wireless access point is too weak. Last night we routed cable through the walls so now it’s in the middle of the house.
Warm & snow-free winter here.
Hammond:
My wife has been driving me to and from work. I have enjoyed spending the extra time with her and the kids in the morning. I will miss that when the shoulder allows me to drive again.
the weather has been frighteningly mild this year, but it had made for a lot of fun - we BBQ’s recently with friends.
