In this episode of the Grow2Gether podcast, we're joined by CEO of The MAGS Group and Business Consultant Mike Ficara. Mike finds great joy in coaching and mentoring high achieving business leaders, entrepreneurs, and corporate executives looking to take their organization to the next level.

Teamwork and self-motivation are something that is important to him and his team at The MAGS Group. Together they have taken several ideas their clients created and turned them into competitive products in their space, along with taking existing businesses and allowing them to see massive growth and stability through a variety of techniques.

During this episode with Mike, we discuss entrepreneurship, side hustles, making money and so much more and ask the question should you take the entrepreneurial path and build a business doing something you love to do.

  • If chasing money is the only or primary factor for starting a business, and you don't generally want to help people the likelihood is you won't get very far. Of course, there is always the exception but for the average entrepreneur leading with a strong why and passion for helping people will get you much further.
  • Ask yourself 'why' do you want the money, the big house, and the fancy car. These are some of the reasons people get into entrepreneurship and chase the next big thing whether that's crypto, blockchain, or network marketing. These material things are just a means to an end and if it's because you want people to like you or get the girls (or guys) then these aren't going to make you happy in the long-term, deeper inner-work is required.
  • Social media and the internet have opened up so much opportunity to build a business, a side hustle, and allowing people to start their entrepreneurial journeys. The mistake many people face though is neglecting their own back yards and leaving so much money on the table in their own communities because they're just focusing on utilising the online world.
  • Making multiple streams of income is a great idea. However, most people are chasing this without having one STRONG income stream that they can build from.
