Denita Smith was a 25-year-old grad student living in Durham, North Carolina in January 2007. She was thriving; she was excelling in school and planning her wedding with her boyfriend of 6 years. Unfortunately, her life came to a tragic end when she was found shot in her own apartment complex. Lies proceeded to unravel that not even Denita herself knew.
