What We Learned
1. Lead with a pure heart.
It is impossible to lead others well without a pure heart because you will be leading them to yourself. Great leaders choose selflessness over selfishness.
Remember that the thing that affects your heart more than anything else are your relationships so keep them healthy.
2. Who you are is more important than what you do.
We focus more on what we do instead of who we are and that can get us in trouble. We forget that what you do is an indicator of who you are. Prioritize your character over your competency.
3. Learn how to follow rather than lead.
There is something in all of us that wants to be the leader and many times younger leaders need to choose to learn how to follow well and leading well will take care of itself
