In this week’s episode of “On the Line” Joe Mullings and Christina K talk about what it means to live during the first generation to freely and willingly share our data with companies. From your personal information on social media, to entering your credit card into Amazon, many of us give away details about ourselves daily. The popular consumer-DNA test, 23andMe takes this another step further by anonymously sharing your DNA information with companies for a fee. (However, there is one case they may give out your details alongside your name.) Christina K. and Joe have different opinions on whether or not this is a good or bad thing moving forward.
