On this week’s episode, the Ghouls (minus Will) review and recap 47 METERS DOWN: UNCAGED. Everyone wonders why there wasn’t a single Latinx person in a movie located in Mexico, if fish can actually scream, and Ashley and Alexz reveal their aversion to nature based activities. Jeanette takes the sharks’ side and wants to fight one of the characters, Alexz thought John Corbett acted the shit of out the five minutes he was in the movie, and Ashley wasn’t expecting to be affected by the movie’s claustrophobic nature. Before the recap, Alexz started watching G.L.O.W. and reading LOVECRAFT COUNTRY, and skewers the original 47 METERS DOWN movie. Jeanette finished COBRA KAI, shouts out her filmmaker friend @alexanderthetitan, and is rereading THE SHINING. Ashley binged most of the second season of MINDHUNTER and gives some quick thoughts on SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK.
