On this week’s episode of the “Let it Flow” podcast, Jessie is joined by yet another of her friends she made at Wildlife Friends Foundation in Thailand. Volunteers from all over the world found out earlier this month that Wildlife Friends Foundation will be forced to close at the end of April if they do not receive immediate funding. The sanctuary has over 700+ animals to feed so without funding they will have to look at relocating options for every animal. We keep the episode light by talking about both our stories at WFFT! We talk about how we ended up at the sanctuary, how we met, what a normal workday looked like, what we did on our days off, and also how easy it was to make friends with like-minded people (look out for the name drops ;). Kristen is a 22-year-old from the Netherlands who grew up in a bi-lingual household (mum Dutch/dad British) so she has a soothing voice to listen to and an adorable accent. Kristen is currently studying at university from the comfort of her home so she joined me to talk about our favorite place: Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT).
