Every young pastor hears a version of this statement.  It is usually made by an elder man or woman in the congregation with the intent of letting you know that they are not impressed with your age.  Sometimes it is harmless.  Sometimes it is the first volley in a long battle.  Pastoring is hard.  Pastoring older members when you are a young pastor can be even harder.  In this episode, I want to share some thoughts and experiences I have had that might be helpful.
