Episode 03: On Pleasing Ourselves with TL Amor

Listen Later

In this third episode of thecuriousclit podcast, I am joined by my good friend TL Amor. TL Amor (she/her) is an international school teacher, an incredible singer, a ukulele player, and one of the funniest and most warm-hearted people that I know <3

TL is not in the sexuality field, but I’ve always loved the talks that we have about sex, and this conversation was no different. We talked about so many things, including:

* Having the sex talk (spoiler alert: it wasn’t her mom that gave it to her!)

* Her experience with hookup culture & the peer pressure to conform

* Being fetishized on dating apps for being fat

* Solo sex, sex toys, and the process of learning about her body and what she likes in bed

* Being a clitbitch (fuck yes!)

* Her tendency to think about other people’s pleasure, and not her own – even during solo sex

* The positive impact of having a partner who cares about our pleasure

* Her tips for having sex that is more aligned with your own wants and needs

* Being a teacher & her advice to parents for talking to their kids about sex

I’m so grateful that TL agreed to be on the podcast. The things that TL said during our talk made me laugh at some moments and feel like crying at others.

I can’t wait for you to listen - hopefully it helps you discover something new about yourself and/or feel less alone in your experiences.

Stay tuned - TL will have her own podcast later this year, and I’ll be sure to update this page when she does!
