Welcome Back JP Family! Today Stephen is talking with an amazing rap artist that is making his own lane in the music industry. Dee-1 is taking the rap scene by storm! His lyrics reflect real world issues and are centered around faith and overcoming. He grew up in New Orleans and was one of the only teenagers in his neighborhood to attend college. His identity was shaken up when he entered college. Everything he based it on was changing. That’s when he dove into writing and rapping. Dee-1 shares with us his amazing story and motivation behind his lyrics.
