What We Learned
1. Be responsible with what you've been given.
This means keeping your word, not making excuses, and being on time. Then once you've completed the task ask yourself, "What is something I could have done better?"
2. Be relentlessly persistent.
Keep asking until you get an explicit no from people. This is what will separate you from others because many people give up after the first attempt.
3. People buy into the way you make them feel, not your product.
Great businesses choose to focus on creating a great experience for their customers. Awl & Sundry does this by treating everyone the same, honesty, and doing more than what the customer pays for.
