If we blindly follow the mainstream narratives, we’ll never have reason to feel accountable or to accept accountability for any of our actions, or the contributions that we make towards the unpleasant experiences of others.
We need to reclaim our agency and along with it our humanness if we hope to rise above the despair of contemporary times.
Hope is not found in wishful thinking. Like they say, if wishes were horses, beggars would be riders. It is only ever meaningful and effective action that has changed the condition of humanity. Never the belief in mystical forces that shape our lives.
