In this first episode of 2020, I am interviewing Amy Gabriel! Amy is a wife, Mama to 2 and entrepreneur! She and her family live in the Orlando, FL area. Amy started a business in 2013 called LippyClip, which combined her love for sewing and dream of creating products people would love! LippyClip is an adorable lip balm holder made from fabric that you can clip onto your keychain, wallet, purse or anywhere you need to find it! I got myself one recently and not only has it made this winter more bearable with dry lips but I’ve gotten so many compliments on it, too!
When I first found LippyClip, I was looking at putting one inside of our subscription boxes and as I dug a little deeper, I realized that not only is Amy a Mama and business owner but we also graduated from the same college AND we both have children who have a severe and rare speech disorder called apraxia. We actually go pretty deep into that sharing our stories to each other and things definitely get emotional in this episode. We joked that you all get to listen to our therapy session! I loved getting to know Amy and I know you will, too. Enjoy my conversation with Amy.
