My first guest is a dear friend of mine, Jesse S! In today's episode we explore Jesse's childhood in Hawai'i as a Filipina-Jew, her two main goals in life, how she ended up in Baja California, and what motivated her to continue on adventures. Encouraged from an early age by the adventurous spirit of her dad and the nurturing spirit of her mother, she set out from Hawai'i numerous times. Jesse and I talk about how she overcame homesickness living in Israel for 6 years and how she is teaching her son about his multicultural family through cooking and language.
