This podcast episode discusses the differences between two types of mobile payments: Apple Pay and Google Pay (and other X-Pays) and the Issuer Wallet SDK. While X-Pays are popular and often required, an Issuer Wallet offers greater flexibility, security of user data and lower transaction costs. The speakers emphasise that while the implementation of X-Pays is often mandatory, it is worth considering a concurrent implementation of the Issuer Wallet SDK, to gain more control over the payment process.
