What We Learned
1. Say more by saying less.
Most communicators fill their messages with many points, but truly effective communicators choose a single point and stick with it. This will make it far easier for your audience to remember what you are trying to say.
2. Find your voice.
You communicate your best when you find your voice. When you try to be someone else people can tell and you aren't as effective because people view you as inauthentic. Remember that your communication is an expression of who you are, but it doesn't define you.
3. Make it applicable
A truth that can't be experienced, isn't truth. If there isn't something for them to do, then why are you talking? Give them something to do.
