Well, In this episode, I have a conversation with Vanessa Smith Torres, a licensed architect, project manager at via design studio and Vice president of SoFlo NOMA. She shares with us her experience studying architecture and what prompted her move to different cities gaining knowledge and experience in the profession! She talks about some challenges she faced maneuvering the field of architecture as a black female architect and how she overcame them over the years.

It's always a pleasure to listen to Vanessa. She shares her experiences openly with the aim to encourage other designers and architects that they are not alone and they can keep going in the profession!
