Welcome to the fifth episode of SSUNDA: Conversations with a Specialist. In this episode, second-year SSUNDA reps Timothy Hunt and Chantelle Burl interview our guest Dr Khairil Musa. Dr Musa is an Intensive care doctor and a part of the Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) team in Aden, Yemen. In Aden, Dr Musa worked in a dedicated COVID-19 treatment center, before taking on a new assignment at the MSF trauma center in the city. After his time in Yemen, he took on a new role working for MSF in Iraq.
