Hiking Unfiltered

Episode #05 - Diane Harsha (Sticks)

Listen Later

Today’s guest, Diane Harsha aka Sticks, has hiked the entire Appalachian Trail, while managing a high-stress job and home life.

We address the issue of planning LASH hikes (Long-Ass Section Hike), dealing with equipment failures and changes and how she was able to find some major mental health benefits on her hikes too.

You can read all about Sticks' Appalachian Trail trips in her new book Sticks and Stones: How to hike the Appalachian Trail in 13 Years. Get it here: https://www.amazon.com/Sticks-Stones-Appalachian-Trail-Thirteen/dp/1544522088
