Episode 6 – The boys highlight some recent NHL news including the controversy involving the Russian hockey players, Matthew Bunting’s case for the Calder Trophy, the Leafs and Red Wings high-scoring affair, the Stadium Series clash in The Music City, and much more. The boys also give their weekly hometown Bruins recap and talk about the team’s recent performance. 

This week’s episode features an interview with the newly acquired Bruins prospect, a Franklin, MA native, and current captain of the Providence Friars hockey team, Mike Callahan. Mike talks about his reaction to the recent trade that sent his contract rights from the Arizona Coyotes to his hometown team the Boston Bruins, and how the Friars hockey team is preparing for the upcoming Hockey East Tournament. Mike also reflects on his time spent at Providence College as a member of the hockey team and his love for country music and growing up down the road from Gillette Stadium. The boys feature a new segment where they each highlight a candidate for their High Slot Player of the Month and leave it up to the fans to vote on which candidate is deserving of the award.
