Why do our liberal politicians and media keep using the word "Democracy" lately? Is our democracy really under threat by the Trump and the right wing? Meanwhile, we have two candidates competing to become "Commander In Chief"  of the world's largest and most powerful military. One was elected by the civilian population in 2016. The other has never even won a primary election. So is the "threat" really on the right, or has the definition of the word itself somehow changed? Liz and Bill also discuss how the modern media no longer speaks truth to power on BOTH sides... but has somehow devolved into a propaganda arm of the elite that aims to serve one side of the political landscape while demonizing the other. Isn't THIS a "threat to democracy"?
