Many of us in recovery have had issues with the legal system during our addictions. As with all convictions, after you have completed whatever the courts have convicted you of, your records are still "out there" for the public to see, and so we are discriminated against for housing, employment, and credit, etc. Former Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams joins us to discuss some of the challenges he has had following his issues with the law. We have paid our debt to society, but the stigma and the consequences for past behavior does not go away. This needs to change!
