For some reason sunrooms are a HUGE deal when it comes to square footage. Nearly every week I get a call from an agent or homeowner asking about how they can make their sunroom into square footage. With all the love in the world, calm down about this concern. It is not as big of a deal as it is made out to be.

Sunrooms do add value, so let’s take that off the table. Sunrooms and their inclusion in the square footage calculation probably doesn’t make as big of a difference as you think when it comes to the valuation of your property.
