Episode 07 – Talent Alone Doesn’t Cut It with Isiah Williams
It is true that talent alone does not cut it. Gifted with no sense of integrity or character is sure of one thing, and that is a self-destructed creative. You must have heart, and you must do maintenance on the heart so that it can stay in a healthy place. This is key since naturally as a creative you hear more no’s than you do yes. Your heart being in a good place would allow you to enjoy moments versus being hung up on the process. In this episode, our guest is Isiah Williams an ordained pastor with a global mission to Shift Hearts and Change Lives through an unconventional delivery of the Word of God. As a voice of this generation, he challenges us as creatives to assess if we approach every opportunity like it is the last time. In 2009 God challenged him to “dare to be different” in his methods of preaching the gospel, by simply being himself and meeting people “where they are”. Isiah is an ordained pastor with a global mission to SHIFT HEARTS and CHANGE LIVES through an unconventional delivery of the Word of God. Williams is currently spear-heading various character development programs in inner-city public schools in Missouri and is currently employed by Joyce Meyer Ministries as Youth Pastor for the St. Louis Dream Center.
