In this episode, we explore the first part of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's long poem, Christabel, a creepy, unsettling journey into the supernatural and the loss of innocence.

As with many gothic works, the atmosphere and tone of this classic are chilling and disturbing in equal measure. This was my first re-read of this poem in years, and the effect was still the same.
