Episode 083 "The King In Yellow" Ah Pook the Destroyer with Matthew Broyles and Paul Shapera

Listen Later

In this episode we interview Matthew Broyles and Paul Shapera from a band that until the day of this recording had never played live for their fans. Ah Pook the Destroyer has existed exclusively online for years while building and audience. The day this recording took place that had all just changed. Our two new friends share with us the origin of Ah Pook and how over the years it has slowly turned into what it is now. Guys thank you for giving the Fort Worth Roots Podcast a little time to record with you and learn about your creative process. Y'all rock!

Paul, come on back to Fort Worth anytime. Your first taco is on me.

Please excuse the loud generator in the background. This recording was conducted on the fly outdoors at the Psychedelic Panther Festival. We actual interviewed five bands that day and you can find that episode of the Fort Worth Roots Podcast episode #082.
