In this episode, I transport you to Ireland, the land of a thousand welcomes with a very special guest who’s a pioneer in the subscription box industry in Europe.  Ireland’s first subscription box started back in 2013, co-founder and good Irish lad all the way from Dingle Ireland, Thomas Barrett!

Based on themes such as the Irish Sheep, the Irish Cottage, an Irish Christmas and Thanksgiving, each My Ireland Box takes our subscribers on a journey through Ireland each month. Not to mention, they must have some incredible Saint Patrick’s Day themed boxes!

Thomas and Katharine would love to share their love for the culture & traditions of Ireland with you and they love sending happiness from Ireland to those that miss it.

Which is something Thomas and I talk about during this episode.  Them having found early a niche that is spread out all over North America.  Ex Pat Irish folks.  People who are from Ireland, or have Irish roots want and miss a part of their Irish culture, so Thomas and Katharine have turned that into a thriving business. 

You’ll learn how to turn some inevitable hardships of life into opportunities, and that being in the subscription industry isn’t necessarily a sprint, but a marathon.  Thomas and Katharine have been in the sub game long enough to know what works, what scales, and what could potentially slow you down.
