Here we go!!!! Episode 85 is the first session with our Therapist Krysten Blackshear who has more than 5 years of experience in the medical and mental health fields. She is an alumnus of Stephen F. Austin State University, where she earned a Master of Social Work degree. Her specialties include trauma-informed care, cultural/diversity concerns, and understanding family systems. We begin this episode with Krysten sharing with us exactly why and how she became a Therapist. We also cover some fundamentals like ‘what is trauma’ along with some of the different categories of trauma.
